Hello!

My name is Emily and I am delighted you have dropped in for a visit.

The Tethering Place is an amalgamation of thoughts, stories, word pictures, and resources that come from my full and chaotic life as a wife to Marshall, the one-paced wonder {truly the most steadfast and thoughtful man I have ever known}; Mom to Tucker {9, my cerebral, strong and sensitive one}, Bennett {7, my humorous, volatile, wooer}, Wesley {4, my extroverted, curious, joy-boy}, and Finn {welcomed into the world October 21st, 2015!}; Young Life Leader/Mentor to many amazing young women; disciple of a multitude of mentors and teachers; Academic Coach by trade; and finally, but certainly most essentially, one whose heart, mind and soul have been captured and won over by a man named Jesus.

My hope is that this would be a space that you would find thought-provoking truth, peace that doesn’t make sense, and assurance of a hope that will never fail you.
